Foreclosure Sales are held at 12:00, noon, at the front door of the Richard O. Watson Judicial Center, 4010 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Florida 32084.
Foreclosure court files are located in the Circuit Civil Division. All interested parties are responsible for obtaining any information concerning the sale, which includes the location, description, judgment amount, and liens, prior to attending the sale.
The Plaintiff or his representative will begin the bidding. Bids are made in increments of one hundred ($100) dollars. The property will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash or certified funds. Prior to determining an individual as the successful bidder, his funds will be examined for sufficiency. The successful bidder must deposit a minimum of five percent (5%) of the bid amount and return with the remaining funds by 2:00 p.m. the same day, unless prior arrangements have been made.

REGISTRY & DOCUMENTARY FEES
All final bids are subjected to a Registry of the Court Fee, which is three percent (3%) of the first five hundred ($500) dollars and one and a half percent (1.5%) of the remaining balance. Documentary Stamps are required to record the Certificate of Title. They are seventy (.70) cents on every one hundred ($100) dollars rounded to the nearest one hundred ($100) dollars. They are paid by a separate check. The Documentary Stamps need to accompany a Transfer of Ownership or a DR219 form.
CERTIFICATE OF TITLE
The clerk can issue a Certificate of Title after a ten (10) day waiting period, provided no objection to the sale is filed. The owner of the property will be based on information given by the prevailing party or his representative.
