Definition of an applicant: Three things must happen before an
individual is considered an applicant: 1) The Clerk's Office must take
action to fill a particular position by posting an external job opening.
2) An individual must follow the Clerk's standard procedures for
submitting applications prior to the posted deadline, and 3) the
individual must indicate an interest in that particular position. A jobseeker will only be considered an applicant when he or she includes
information demonstrating that they meet the minimum qualifications.
All applications are screened for qualifications.
Those candidates whose applications best match the job requirements and
meet the minimum qualifications will
be contacted for interviews and other pre-selection processes.
